Dog Tail Wag.

This is the dog tail I animated a little while ago... I'm not very impressed with this one I guess. Not my best work, it was really difficult to even get just this working.

Oops, I guess not.. You can't even see that. Sorry, I'll have to figure out how to fix this. All of my videos are like it now. Grrrr... We'll see what I can do with it. I'll re-post it when I have a decent video of it!

Character Boat Wave.

This is the latest animation we've done, mine still needs a little work but I think it is a success! Someone messed with the hole punch and my peg holes were all screwed up, so unfortunately the kitty's feet don't clear the boat and it only looks like it's but is moving. Oh well, I still like it :D.

Sorry it's so light, I drew it in dark blue D:

Head Rotation.

This is the head rotation, done quite recently actually. First there was a head spin (1st video) for practice, then I did another practice spin (2nd video) with the model sheets given to us. After all the practice I tackled the actual head rotation (3rd video), it's not the best but it's okay I guess. Not to to bad anyway.

Sorry, I seem to have misplaced my final head rotation... :| As soon as I locate it, I will post it with these other videos! Where could it be?

The Leaf Drop.

Here is my leaf drop, which was animated after the heavy ball drop.

The Heavy Ball Drop.

Here are three heavy ball drops I animated back towards the beginning of Animation: Timing Techniques class this year. Enjoy!

The Bouncing Ball.

Here is zee bouncing ball animation I have created.

The Pendulum.

Here is the first animation I ever did! Very nice.

Platypus Robber.

Here is one of the first characters I designed in Character Design class, he's a platypus. I really struggled with it, I'm not very good at anthropomorphizing things :S, hopefully I'll grow out of that. He still turned out okay though, with tonnes of help from Rick.

Squash and Stretch.

Here are some squashed and stretched shapes, an exercise done for character design.

Battle Cat!

Here is Battle Cat, so named by Peter. He's just so cuddly.

Squiddles.

Take a look at these guys, an octopus and a squid. Julia and I think their adorable :D.

Me as Wigglytuff.

Hey, check out me as a Wigglytuff! We did a drawing jam a little while ago: draw yourself as a Pokemon trainer, but everyone just drew themselves as Pokemon instead. Their much more cute :3

A Lovely Gesture.

Here are a few gestures from Life Drawing today, I think they turned out decent. I have pages and pages of these things in my many pads of newsprint paper, my favorite is the one break dancing, :).

Hands, hands, hands!

Here are some hands I did in Life Drawing a few weeks ago, in all honesty I like doing hands much more than the face and feet. This year I am enjoying Life Drawing much more than I expected, I struggled with it a lot last year. I simply cannot believe how much our whole class has improved just in the past month! It's amazing!

A Beautiful Flower.

Here is a lily, done in pencil, I did for the final project in Art Fundies in 2010. I am actually extremely pleased with how this piece turned out, I used a blending stomp to blend and work with the graphite. I think it worked out well, what do you think?

Wednesday 7 December 2011

Hello! I have yet to actually use this blog so let's begin shall we?

This is an older project from Art Fundies, done in charcoal. I really like how it turned out, and I really enjoyed doing it as well.
